Happy Birthday to me!

Yay it's my birthday tomorrow and although I am not looking forward to gaining another year, I am always a teeny weeny bit excited that it's my special day :-)

I was going to show you some pictures of me when I was younger but uploading them as well as scanning them would be so much effort and I'm achy today. I was born 23 years ago they did not have digital cameras back then! I was made in the 80's and born in 1990, how many people can say that?

So.... because I am lazy I did a quick and poor quality video of some of the pics I look at every year on the 4th of Feb as I always love seeing my Mum pregnant as well as looking through the album of the photos of my dear friends and relatives that are no longer with us or I don't get to see very often, how much we have all changed since 1990! <3

Really disappointed with Royal Mail today as the post man hasn't been AGAIN and I am off doing my Nannying later so I now won't get any of my cards until next weekend, rghh, If anyone has seen my tweets lately my post man is bordering on underlined useless, mashed parcels, bent moon pig cards, green slime, pretending to deliver parcels or just not turning up!

Regardless of birthday cards or not, I would love to share my cupcake with you, have fun licking your computer screens, don't burn your tongue on the candle and I will give my birthday wish to anyone who can blow it out ;-) xxxx

Spring Nails

I haven't got these nail varnishes, I am hoping to get them for my birthday in 2 days, hint, hint!

They are from the Spring collection of 2010 but I love pastel colours on my nails and I think pastel colours are perfect for nail art too ;)

I currently have this on my nails... (excuse the dodgy photo, my camera is non existent at the moment)

It's a China Glaze polish as you can see - shocking pink colour, it's my favourite nail varnish and I always polish it on for special occasions! - My nails are really long at the moment so colour looks good on them :-)

Here are the China Glaze polishes that are on my Amazon wish list :-)

I thought I would throw in a picture of my experimentation with my new dotting tool (picture taken late last year) the silver dots were created with Barry M Special effects silver :-)

what is your favourite colour and nail varnish brand?

If I won the Lottery today...

Ok, so it's a tad unrealistic and dreamy of me but everyone loves this topic, what would you really do if you won the lottery and I don't mean £5, I mean big time, £100,000,000 BIG TIME? There is apparently more chances of being struck by lightning than winning the lottery, not sure if this is statistically correct or if it has even been proven but considering they also say that lightning never strikes the same place twice and I know of someone that has witnessed this makes me fancy my chances a little...

Don't you just send eye daggers at the people on television that are on the adverts, 'I won £20,000 and only spent a £1!' jealous isn't the word. As many times as I hear the saying 'money doesn't buy you happiness' the more I think, yes but it takes the sting out of being poor! ha ha.

If I did win A LOT of money I really wouldn't know where to start, for one I don't think I would let anyone know, this might sound selfish but people change with money and I wouldn't want anyone to treat me differently... Money can make people really selfish and assuming and I just don't think it's a wise thing to let the world know - I can't think of anything more annoying than people telling you what to do with your money or expecting you to do something just because you have it. I would not be tight but I would not give it away willy-nilly either! - personal experience with a selfish rich person has made me feel this way.  As a kid I remember going to this 'rich' persons house, I didn't even know at the time she was anything special, kids don't look at people and think ooo money do they? but yeah,I was with 2 other kids and they got called upstairs by this 'rich' person, again I thought nothing of it, but the youngest came down poked her tongue out and said 'neurgh... she gave us a pound and not you!' at the time I wasn't bothered, I just thought what a weirdo, it is only a pound lol, but literally every time I have had to be around this vile woman I've cringed,  I make a point of not talking to her, it was a spiteful thing to do and the youngest child was obviously told not to tell me about it, therefore making her do so as kids do, it just made me really see people in a different light, I know it's only a pound but what a vile human!  To this day I just physically have so much hate for her, I HATE leaving people out and over something so petty as well?! ahh, infuriating, what a loser ha ha.

Anyway, back to me, I would definitely give a lot of it to charity, I know everyone says it but I really, really would.  I would also like to set up my own spa, that would be amazing! - I would sort myself out a nice house and I know this sounds really lazy but I would definitely have a cleaner, I am really messy, I just never have the time to tidy... I like to think it's because I'm a genius or super creative however I think I am just plain messy lol.

A personal driver would be amazing too, I currently don't and cannot drive so this would be helpful ha.

I don't think I would get any plastic surgery, maybe my eyebrows tattooed on but anything else kind of freaks me out, bigger boobs would be nice though, but I do believe surgery should only ever be done in emergencies and not for cosmetic reasons!

Imagine having the money to just pop on holiday when you fancied it? I would tour the world and just soak up everything.  Ahh money, money, money.

I guess I better start playing the lottery then!

Friday Letters

Dear Kids, Thank you for being so good this week you made it so easy and I miss you so much already! You make all other children look really badly behaved, I love you so, so much and I cannot wait to come back to look after you on Tuesday, it is my birthday on Tuesday too but I am more excited to be back with you! x

Dear Chicken Pox, Although my eldest nephew is now covered in spots it has been nice to spend some time with him, we have had lots of fun the last two days and seeing Alfie with his little spots makes my heart melt! If you're going to spread to Georgia and Harry too then please hurry up because I don't want the kids missing any much more school as it does muck up everyone's day!

Dear readers, Sorry I haven't posted much the last few days but I have been MAJORLY busy with 3 kids under the age of 4! it's all about quality not quantity anyway :p

Dear Where's my Water, WHY ARE YOU SO ADDICTIVE?!!

Dear Birthday, 4 more sleeps, ahh?!

Dear February, Welcome :-)

Dear Joey, I have missed you and am looking forward to cuddles tonight and a lay in tomorrow, shame you have to get up for work at 4AM :-(
